About course

Students would gain an understanding of the underlying principles of strategic communication as well as the necessary knowledge of planning effective communication plans and activities. Students will be able to write their strategic communication plan in a structured format that is easy for others to comprehend. This course will also provide students with the skills needed to articulate their communication plans in both written and verbal formats while considering the principles of visual communication.

    Lesson 8: Setting the Goals and Objectives 

    Lesson 9: Designing the Message 

    Lesson 10: Designing the Message-A more in-depth Approach 

    Lesson 11: Selecting Communication Strategies 

    Lesson 12: Selecting Tactics 

    Lesson 13: Social Media as Communication Strategy and Tactic 

    Lesson 14: Implementation 

    Lesson 15: Evaluation 

    Lesson 16: Writing your Strategic Communication Plan-A Template

Evaluation

There are measurements and assessments via quizzes and posttests, with 50 points awarded for the quiz and 50 points awarded for the posttest. Students must earn a cumulative score equal to the sum of all percentages. Learners who achieve a score of 60% or above will be eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion. 

Objectives

    1. To increase students understanding of the underlying principles of strategic communication and the necessary knowledge of planning effective communication plans and activities. 

    2. To enable students to write their strategic communication plans in a structured format that is easy for others to comprehend. 

    3. To provide students with the skills needed to articulate their communication plans in both written and verbal formats while considering the principles of visual communication. 

Note

1. Learners who attend less than 80% of the course progress will not be allowed to take the post-test. 

2. You can do the post-test only once.
